Starting from 2012 each year around the world the Global Money Week is held which is coordinated by Child and Youth Finance International (CYFI). CYFI is a global multi-stakeholder network of organizations working to increase the opportunities of a younger generation through the expansion of youth access to finance, financial education and entrepreneurial skills. This year the week runs from 14th to 20th of March throughout the world, and Tajikistan also participates actively in the framework of this week.
Global Money Week is a global campaign to raise awareness about the financial literacy among children and youth through interactive fun activities and give young people the opportunity and tools to determine their own future.
Each year the number of countries and organizations participating in the campaign is increasing. In 2015, 124 countries and 962 organizations, covering 5.6 million children and young people participated in this campaign, and there were held more than 3,000 events.
